Ruth Pierce is a nurse because she is passionate about helping and caring for others. Ruth was trained locally as a Registered Nurse and has experience in CCU, ICU, MICU, STICU, Prehospital Medicine, Flight and Ground Critical Care Services and the Emergency Department. She is active locally and nationally with the American Association of Legal Nurse Consultants, American Association of Critical Care Nurses and North Carolina Association of Healthcare Quality.
The culture of working in a busy Level 1 Trauma Center and Tertiary Care Center has prepared her for assessing a wide variety of medical complaints and required her expertise in making crucial life and death decisions.
